If the driver of a connected vehicle attempts to turn right in front of a moving streetcar, the driver receives a warning.
Drivers of connected buses receive an alert if they are on a potential collision course with another connected vehicle that is approaching the same intersection.
As pedestrians cross East Twiggs Street using the midblock crosswalk at the Hillsborough County Courthouse, approaching drivers whose cars are equipped with connected vehicle technology will receive an alert that a pedestrian is in their path.
